GOOD RIDDANCE: The Pathetic ‘Never Trump’ Cabal Is FINALLY CRUMBLING – And We Saw It Coming!

Man, I have zero problem saying this: The ‘Never Trump’ movement? It was always a joke. A pathetic, self-serving charade propped up by the mainstream media, desperate to find ANYONE, ANYWHERE, who would denounce the one man truly fighting for America. And now, even The New York Times has to admit it: this fractured, out-of-touch cabal is staring down an uncertain future. Are you surprised? I’m not.

For years, we watched as these so-called ‘conservatives’ paraded across cable news, wringing their hands, clutching their pearls, and declaring their moral superiority. They told us Donald Trump wasn’t ‘conservative enough,’ that he was ‘unfit,’ and that he would destroy the Republican Party. What they REALLY meant was he wasn’t part of THEIR establishment club, and he dared to speak directly to the American people, bypassing their gatekeepers.

The Media’s Pet Project Collapses

Let’s be brutally honest. The only reason the ‘Never Trump’ movement ever had any oxygen was because the liberal media, from CNN to MSNBC to, yes, The New York Times, gave them endless airtime. They were the useful idiots, the ‘Republicans’ who could be trotted out to legitimize every attack on President Trump. They were the palatable voices for the left, giving the illusion of bipartisan opposition.

But here’s the kicker: while the media was busy celebrating their every whimper, real Americans, the forgotten men and women of this country, were rallying behind Trump. They saw a fighter, not a polished politician. They saw someone who actually cared about their jobs, their borders, and their freedom, not just cocktail parties in D.C. or Davos.

The NYT article, in its own understated way, essentially confirms what we’ve known all along: the ‘Never Trump’ movement is a ship without a rudder, lost at sea, and sinking fast. They’re fractured, they’re ineffective, and frankly, they’re irrelevant to the vast majority of the Republican base. Their grand experiment to rid the GOP of Trump has failed spectacularly.

Who Were These ‘Principled Conservatives’ Anyway?

Think about the faces of the ‘Never Trump’ movement. Many were former Bush-era Republicans, Beltway insiders, consultants, and academics who had grown accustomed to a certain way of doing things. They liked their polite debates, their think tank positions, and their predictable political careers. Trump blew all of that up.

“They thought they were the conscience of the party. Turns out, they were just the whiners of the party.”

Their entire identity became defined by their opposition to Trump. But what did they actually STAND for? Beyond ‘not Trump,’ their platform was as hollow as a drum. They offered no compelling vision for the country, no popular policies, and certainly no leader who could inspire millions the way Trump did (and still does!).

They became so obsessed with Trump that they often ended up aligning themselves with the radical left on issues that true conservatives hold dear. They criticized Trump’s judicial appointments, his border policies, his tax cuts – policies that were overwhelmingly popular with the base they claimed to represent. It was an ideological betrayal, plain and simple.

The Trump Phenomenon They Never Understood

The ‘Never Trumpers’ fundamentally misunderstood the American people and the rise of Trump. They saw him as an anomaly, a fluke, a temporary deviation. What they failed to grasp was that Trump was a symptom of a much larger shift: a rebellion against the very establishment they represented.

Americans were tired of:

  • Globalist trade deals that shipped jobs overseas.
  • Open borders that undermined sovereignty and security.
  • Endless wars with no clear objectives.
  • Woke ideology infiltrating every aspect of society.
  • A media complex that lied, distorted, and gaslighted daily.

Trump spoke to these frustrations directly. He didn’t use focus-group-tested language; he spoke like a normal person, albeit a very successful and direct one. He tapped into a deep vein of patriotism and a desire for America First policies that the ‘Never Trumpers’ either ignored or actively disparaged.

A Fractured Future? More Like A Non-Existent One

The NYT piece details how the ‘Never Trump’ movement is struggling to find a path forward. Some want to join the Democrats, which tells you everything you need to know about their ‘conservative’ principles. Others are trying to find a moderate lane within the GOP, a lane that has been consistently rejected by voters.

The truth is, they have no future because they have no constituency. The Republican Party has fundamentally changed, and it has changed FOR THE BETTER, thanks to President Trump. It’s now the party of the working class, the forgotten middle, and those who believe in American strength and sovereignty. The country club Republicans are a dying breed.

Their attempts to recruit new leaders have fallen flat. Their endorsements carry no weight. Their op-eds are read by fewer and fewer people. They are, quite simply, yesterday’s news, clinging to a bygone era that most Americans are happy to leave behind.

What Does This Mean for America?

The demise of the ‘Never Trump’ movement is a good thing for the conservative movement and for America. It means the focus can shift from internal squabbling and petty grievances to the real battles ahead: securing our borders, revitalizing our economy, restoring law and order, and standing up to the radical agenda of the left.

It means the Republican Party can finally unify around a populist, America First message that resonates with a broad cross-section of the country. It means we can stop wasting time on those who would rather lose gracefully than fight for what’s right.

So, as The New York Times laments the ‘uncertain future’ of these anti-Trump crusaders, I say good. Let them be uncertain. Let them fade into obscurity. While they were busy plotting against Trump, we were busy fighting for America. And guess what? We’re still fighting. And we’re winning.
